Healthy Share is based on the national Dietary Guidelines, which reflect the latest medical and scientific research on healthy eating. The guidelines are updated every five years by the USDA and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
When you subscribe to Healthy Share, you get locally grown or certified organic produce delivered to your door each week. Each delivery includes 2-3 kinds of fruit and 4-6 different vegetables representing four vegetable sub-groups. In short, Healthy Share brings you the variety of produce recommended for a healthy diet.
The contents of your Healthy Share changes each week. When you subscribe, you'll fill out our Food Survey, which helps make sure you get your favorite foods. We currently offer 101 different fruits and vegetables.
You can also tell us which foods you don't want to receive. Hate green beans? When they're scheduled for delivery, we'll pull them from your order and make up the difference by providing more of other foods you like.
